Moving on from there. You've got the psychological pillar. Okay, you've got the mind game. So you know all the thoughts, the emotions, personality. How we talk to ourselves! Past traumas or events! It doesn't have to be a big T trauma. It could be a little t trauma. So this is perimenopause. This is the time in our lives when we really need to be doing the work if we haven't done it already. So I'm doing the work. It is literally looking at ourselves, looking at our past experiences, our past traumas again. It doesn't need to be a big trauma. We're talking little T traumas as well. And we're looking at our beliefs, understanding our brain and how it processes all these experiences that we've actually gone through.
So this is also about recognizing the patterns that our thoughts and emotions follow. Again, this part in our life, our thoughts and emotions are quite often changing. We’re so confused; we just don't know what's going on. And our beliefs, maybe the belief that we're getting older, the belief that our life's over, there's so much stuff going on. So this is the time where we need to be addressing this psychological stuff, addressing this stuff that's going on. Because if not now, when? When are you actually going to start addressing this stuff that's going on? When are you going to start doing it? It needs to be now.
Based on therapeutic coaching, the diploma that I'm doing at the moment that I've almost finished, this looks at this part a lot. We might be revisiting painful memories to reframe them in a healthier light, challenging long-held beliefs that no longer serve us, or altering that self-talk to be more compassionate, more supportive. This is a pillar that can give us so much more clarity and it's a chance to finally say, "So that's why I do what I do." You understand yourself. It's a chance to understand yourself and it's huge. It's a huge pillar. It is just as important as the biological pillar. It's just as important as your sleep, your nutrition, your exercise, HRT. It is just as important. We need to be addressing this shit.
