## Notes
##### What Today is About
- You’ve [[Find Your Way Home – Day 1|checked your compass]], you know what matters most, you’ve [[Find Your Way Home – Day 2|found your bearings]], and you’ve started to [[Find Your Way Home – Day 3|lighten your load]]. You’ve been getting rid of all the bullshit you need to let go of.
- Now we’re standing at a **crossroads** with different options in front of us: things you want to focus more on, things you want to let go of.
- There isn’t one right path. There are **many options**. Don’t get overwhelmed.
- Focus on what you actually want. Not a five-year plan. This is about a direction that feels like home **right now, in this moment, this season of your life**.
##### About Seasons
- Don’t get lost in “what do I want to do for the next few years?” or “where am I going?”
- This is about **this season of your life**, the one you’re in right now.
- How long this season lasts, only you’ll know. It could be short or long. Life changes constantly. Energy shifts. Priorities move.
- Every time they do, come back to this work: pause, recheck your compass, ask what really matters, figure out if you’re living it, and let go of what you don’t need.
##### Using Your Worksheet
- [[What do you want this season to look like.pdf]]
- Question: **What do you want this season to look like?**
- You’ll see four boxes: **day, week, month, year**. Think of them as lenses of your life.
- This isn’t a planner or resolutions. You’re describing **what might feel right**.
##### Examples
- **Day:** For me, having a morning to myself. Time to reflect, write, drink coffee in peace. That’s a day that matters to me.
- **Week:** How do you want it to be? What do you want to include or let go of?
- **Month:** Same as above—include what matters, let go of what doesn’t.
- **Year:** For me, explore the world more, get out in nature with my sister, stand in my safe spaces.
##### How to Fill It Out
- Focus on this season, not forever.
- Jot down single words, ideas, short notes—whatever feels right. Doesn’t have to be a full page.
- If unsure, start with a **more/less list**: [[More & less.pdf]]
- Left: what you want **more of**
- Right: what you want **less of**
- Examples: more slow mornings, less rushing; more walks outside, less scrolling/comparing.
##### Questions to Ask Yourself
- If your life was built around what matters, what would need to change?
- What would shift in your day, month, year to make space for those things?
- What supports you rather than drains you?
- What does this season of your life need most?
- Could be rest, creating, starting a business, connecting, healing, clarity—whatever helps you right now.
- There’s **no right or wrong answer**. It’s your answer for right now.
##### Remember
- This isn’t a checklist or a to-do list. Not a plan.
- Simply a reflection of what feels true right now.
- You can keep coming back. Things might change, and that’s fine.
- It’s just a way to **find your way home for now**.
##### Next Steps
- Focus on how you want this season to be: day, week, month, year.
- Do what works for you. Follow the prompts.
- Share what you’ve come up with in the Facebook group.
- Tomorrow we move to **[[Find Your Way Home – Day 5|Day 5: Take the Next Right Step]]**.

## Transcript
Okay, so we’re on to day four. This is choose your path. The idea now is that you’ve checked your compass, you know what matters most, you’ve found your bearings, basically figured out where you’re not living that, and you’ve started to lighten your load. So you’ve been getting rid of all the bullshit that you need to let go of.
Now we’re standing at a crossroads with all these different options in front of us. All the things we want to focus more on, all the things we want to let go of. There’s not one right path. There are many. So literally, we have lots of different options and I don’t want you to get overwhelmed.
We’re going to start focusing on what we actually want. This isn’t about having a five-year plan. Not by any means. This is about choosing a direction that feels like home right now, in this moment, in this season of your life.
Before we move on, I want to make something really clear. It’s easy for us to get lost in the idea of “what do I want to do for the next few years?” or “where am I going?” It’s not about that. We’re not planning forever here. This is about *this* season of your life, the one you’re in right now.
How long this season lasts, I don’t know. It could be short, it could be long. Only you’ll know. Only you’ll know when it shifts. But life changes constantly. Energy shifts. Our priorities move. Every time they do, the point is to come back to this work — to pause, to recheck your compass, to ask again what really matters, to figure out if you’re living it, and to let go of what you don’t need.
You don’t have to have it all figured out today. We’re just tuning in to what feels true right now, in this season.
So your worksheet for today — what do you want this season to look like? You’ll see four boxes: day, week, month, year. Think of them as lenses of your life.
You’re not writing resolutions or making a plan. It’s not a planner. You’re describing what might feel right. What does a day that feels like *you* actually look like?
For me, it was having a morning to myself. Time to reflect and write and drink my coffee in peace. That’s what a day that matters to me looks like. It wasn’t there at first — I had to bring it in for myself.
What does a week look like? How do you want your month to be? What do you want to include or let go of? You don’t need to fill every box. Pick what works. For me, focusing on the day worked best. The other thing I added was something for the year — I wanted to explore the world more, to get out in nature with my sister, to go stand in my safe spaces. That mattered to me.
So again, focus on this season. Not forever.
You can jot down single words, ideas, short notes — whatever feels right. It doesn’t have to be a full page. Just prompts for reflection. What do I want this week to look like? What do I want to include? What maybe needs to go? Build from there.
If you’re not sure what you want your days, weeks, or months to look like, start with the *more and less* list. On the left, write what you want more of. On the right, what you want less of. We’ve already touched on this through what matters most and what’s in your backpack — this is just another way of doing it.
It might be that you want more slow mornings, less rushing and reacting. More walks outside, less scrolling and comparing. I’m not always perfect at this, but I’ve got more awareness now of what I want more and less of.
If you built your life around what really matters, what would need to change? What would have to shift in your day, your month, your year to make space for those things? What supports you rather than drains you? What does this season of your life need most?
It could be that you need rest. Or that you want to create more, start a business, connect with people. Maybe it’s a season of healing — healing pain, hurt, physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. Or maybe it’s clarity — exploring your thoughts, hiring a coach, a therapist, whatever helps.
There’s no right or wrong answer. It’s your answer, for right now.
When you’re done with your sheets — and you don’t have to use both — remember, this isn’t a checklist or to-do list. It’s not a plan. It’s simply a reflection of what feels true right now.
You can keep coming back to it. Maybe what you write changes. Maybe what you thought you wanted more of turns out to be something else. That’s fine. You can return to this whenever you need to.
You don’t need to have it all mapped out. This isn’t forever. It’s just a way to find your way home *for now* — to figure out how you want this season to be.
Tomorrow, we’re moving on to taking the next right step. That’s when we’ll take physical action and figure out what comes next.
But for today, focus on how you want this season to be — your day, your week, your month, your year. Do what works for you. Follow the prompts. Come into the Facebook group, share what you’ve come up with, and we’ll chat through it.
I’ll see you tomorrow.
