Many of you came to know me as ‘The Body Mechanic’. I wrote about biomechanics, therapy and human anatomy. I was seeing clients who wanted help ‘physically’ with their pain. But I could not get away from the fact that everything is connected. EVERYTHING! (Hence why I needed to move away from ‘The Body Mechanic’ name… I felt it was too focused on the mechanics of the body). Yes, we need specialists in the world. But I am a generalist through and through. And I can’t help but agree with Dirk Gently… ( Yes, I am quoting a sci-fi fictional character!) > “I see the solution to each problem as being detectable in the pattern and web of the whole. The connections between causes and effects are often much more subtle and complex than we with our rough and ready understanding of the physical world might naturally suppose” Everything is connected.  We cannot separate the muscular system from the endocrine system. Or the nervous system. Or the immune system. Or the brain. Or the gut. Or pain. We cannot separate anything happening in our body from our thoughts, feelings, expectations, attitudes or past experiences.  Everything is connected. EVERYTHING.
